Surfers leg mauled by crocodile in Playa Hermosa

Heavy rains flooded the  Tulin River in southern Playa Hermosa sending some of the local crocodile population into the lineup tearing up a young gringos leg at the knee and mauling a woman's hand in the waters just out front of the Backyard Bar.
 My son just getting back to the states after a three-month stay in Hermosa got a call from one of his buddies telling him of the attacks. He said he wasn't surprised at all by these attacks, considering just about every time it rains the crocs come to the beach. Anyone familiar with the area knows to look for the spikes in the lineup, and when they show the locals go scrambling for the beach.

He was told by one of the local crew that there is a pic of his friend  local pro Gilbert Brown surfing with a crock in the face of the wave.  We'll post it as soon as we get it.
