Skateboard Contest Details:
The Skater2Beat video skate contest gives skaters a venue to showcase their talent and promote themselves. Skaters from all over the country compete by submitting their best skate videos to be voted on by our users. Our users, which are made up of Skater, Skate Shop, and Spectator profile types, can vote for their favorite skater each month and win prizes for voting. To make sure the voting is fair and accurate, each user is allowed to vote one time per day. The Skater with the most votes for the month becomes the Skater2Beat. The Skater2Beat defends the title each month until another Skaters knocks them off. The video skate contest runs for twelve months, and at the end of 12 months the Skater with the most cumulative votes wins the grand prize. When voting, users should consider the following criteria: 1. The size of the tricks performed 2. Trick variety 3. The level of difficulty 4. The skaters technical ability 5. The skaters personal style Skaters can change their main video entry for the Skater2Beat video skate contest as often as they want, and up to five different videos can be stored in their video library. The Skater2Beat video skate contest is designed to give Skaters an opportunity to showcase their talent as they progress as a skater.
